Investigate:
- How do designs move from Figma to production?
- Who approves UX changes?
- How are components named?
- Where are shared assets stored?
- How does engineering decide whether to reuse or rebuild?
- What testing exists?
- How are releases coordinated?
- Which teams have unique requirements?
Also measure the organization's design maturity.
A technically perfect design system will fail if its workflow does not fit the company.
